The Rosary

The Rosary is a Scripture-based prayer that begins with the Apostles’ Creed, outlining key mysteries of the Catholic faith. Each mystery starts with the Our Father, taken from the Gospels, and includes Hail Marys, whose first part recalls the angel’s announcement of Christ’s birth and Elizabeth’s greeting to Mary, with the second part later added by St. Pius V. The Rosary focuses on Christ’s life through the Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious, and Luminous Mysteries. Its repetitive rhythm fosters a peaceful, contemplative prayer that quiets the mind and opens the heart to Christ’s presence. It can be prayed individually or in a group setting.
