Faith in Action: Serving God Through Everyday Life
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” – Matthew 5:16
How can we better reflect Christ’s love in our daily interactions at work, home, and within our community?
Everyone you meet in your day, show them the love. Show them respect and that they matter. Bless them and watch god touch there hearts.

Welcome to a New Year of Growth and Fellowship!
As we step into this new year, let’s remember our calling as a church family to create a welcoming space for everyone. Whether you’re new to our church community or have been a parishioner for years, we are excited to journey together in faith.
This year, many of us may have started new devotionals or study routines to deepen our relationship with God. Let’s take a moment to share: What devotionals have you started, and what insights or lessons have stood out to you so far?
For those who haven’t begun a devotional yet, know that it’s never too late to start! A simple step could be choosing a short daily devotional, focusing on a favorite Bible verse, listening to a podcast, or joining a group study.
Discussion Question:
What specific ways can devotionals help you grow spiritually and strengthen your connection with others in our faith community?

I began The Rosary in a Year podcast. You can find it here. https://www.stjohnjeanerette.org/the-rosary-in-a-year-podcast
I was hesitant to begin it because I thought it was going to be a daily rosary, which I have tried in the past and struggled to stick with. The podcast is not that at all. There is a path Father takes you through, and you learn about building a relationship with Jesus Christ. It seems to be much more than just praying the rosary but more so how to use the rosary to enhance your relationship.
If you haven’t listened to it yet, I would encourage you to begin. Have a great day!
