The Sacrament of Confirmation

The Sacrament of Confirmation deepens a Catholic's connection to the Catholic Church and strengthens them to live the Christian life. The policy of the Diocese of Lafayette can be found by clicking on the button below.
Ordinarily, Catholics in the Diocese of Lafayette receive Confirmation in their Junior year of high school. Please contact the parish office by phone, email, or through this website to register your child before they start Junior year.
Sometimes, Catholics reach adulthood without Confirmation and never find the time to follow up. Throughout the Diocese of Lafayette, we are striving to help adult Catholics complete their Confirmation. If you were never Confirmed and would like to be, please contact the parish office. Adults can be confirmed after just a few classes to refresh and deepen their knowledge of the faith - there's no need to take all the classes that the Juniors take.
